Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My baby crawled around inside a playpen, while I sat for 12 hours cleaning the floors, as well as removing the wallpaper. Ha! The whole thing was beginning to form, but it wasn't quite finished. It was going to take lots of time and money and my personal favorite brands to furnish this home. In order to keep my budget intact, I went with three of my boys to look for bargains at estate sales. Each week we would spend Thursday to Saturday at estate sales and garage sales, buying old and new furniture. In the end, I repainted and smoothed the driveway in the week. The furniture was like this... and that's where I got my passion for restoration. Even though the house had been equipped, I couldn't quit. The local market had space for me to market my items. My collection eventually grew so large that the room I had available was inadequate. In my own home, I started hosting open houses, where over 1,000 people were able to come in to purchase anything they wanted on the first floor in just one weekend. Growing Days is the result of all this. Growing Days was more than an extremely successful company, it was also my sweet family. I was balancing the demands of having starting a business while also being a mommy. Growing Days just seemed to be the right fit. The year was 2013, and my sweet daughter Nora was born. She is our fourth kiddo. This was a fantastic direction for my business but I also needed some time off. I decided to quit doing work on my furniture for a while and stay home with the children. It was time. However after a few months after that, the phone began to call. The people who called me were asking for help with decorating their homes and interior renovations. Most of these people were the ones who had strolled through my home during the furniture open houses! I began taking on clients at a time taking my time however it wasn't for long to have several accounts, and I was operating the complete business of home remodeling. If you'd have told me that this business of mine would turn into an idea for a TV show that airs on the DIY Network I probably would have laughed. In the present, as I look back on this situation and think about it, I laugh.
