Her birth date was the 29th of March, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina is the full name of her. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. Her heritage is Mexican American but an American nationality. Since she was a child she's had a keen desire to participate in activities. Gerina first started golfing at 15 years of age. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School. While she was in high school, she took home her first prize in the New Mexico state golf tournament. In addition, she was an athlete in volleyball who played at the national level. She was a student at the University of Texas in 2003. During the senior years of her career, she had won every tournament that she participated in. In the course of her undergraduate studies she won the titles of Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the Years.
