Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts, born 28th October 1967 in Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. The Robertses' father was interested in theatre from an early stage. When he was a student at Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. In 1953, he was a member of the Air Force and while stationed in Biloxi the Mississippi coast, he was a part of the production of Betty Lou Bredemus. They got married in the year 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was an undergraduate at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957 they left the airforce and Walter started studying at Tulane University. Walter started work at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter along with Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning show on local TV for kids named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. They also were paid. In the following year, they established The Actors and Writers Workshop which continued for six seasons. During this time they also had two other kids Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in 1965, and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
