Bill Self, a popular and successful Basketball Coach was born in the city of Okmulgee Oklahoma on the 27th of December 1962. Self was born in the city of Okmulgee Oklahoma where his father was the girls' basketball coach at nearby Morris High School. He won a basketball scholarship at Oklahoma State University. He was awarded letters of recommendation for the entire the four years. His school, Oklahoma State University awarded him the bachelor of management degree back in 1985 as well as an MBA in Athletics Administration degree in 1989.
